Midsummer SEDAR+ update | New video

I hope everyone is enjoying the summer and finding time to make memories with friends and family. At the CSA, preparations for the transition to SEDAR+ are full speed ahead. All primary contacts of SEDAR subscribing organizations can expect onboarding preparation details to land in their inboxes in early September. The streamlined onboarding window will be open in October and November. The Learning Centre will go live in December. SEDAR+ is on track to launch February 2023.

Strong engagement from Pilot participants

Pilot participants are hard at work and highly engaged as they test the core filing functionality of SEDAR+. The Pilot began in early July with Regulator staff gaining access to the early version of SEDAR+. A small group of high-volume filers joined a couple of weeks later. Their input is proving to be invaluable as they ask important questions and suggest opportunities to improve the system in the future.

Participants tell us that the user experience is much improved, which is great news. As expected, they have noted additional features they would appreciate, and some functionality that isn’t working entirely as anticipated. Their feedback will help us prioritize critical fixes prior to the launch and plan for future enhancements. The Pilot wraps up at the end of August.

Watch for the next edition of SEDAR+ Connection, coming in September. We will release a series of videos that will provide a sneak peek of some SEDAR+ highlights, including the new experience for public and registered users. We will also provide a summary of the outcomes from the Pilot and new details on the onboarding process, which begins in October.
